Here we have an extremely rich and aesthetic specimen of Goosecreekite, a relatively rare member of the zeolite series. Goosecreekite is one of those minerals often overlooked in the flood of other, more common Indian minerals and yet, it is by far the world´s finest. An outstanding, richly lined specimen with beautiful white Goosecreekite crystals measuring an astonishing 2.8 cm in diameter, loosely intergrown with whitish to colorless Heulandite crystals and beautifully nestled in a vug of sparkling Quartz. This is an extremely rare size for this rare species. The luster is excellent, and the uniformity of the snow-white crystals further contributes to the aesthetic appeal. A real eye-catcher.
