Description

This stunning matrix piece features pale apple green spheres and aggregates composed of little spiky crystals of sparkling Willemite. What is unusual about the Willemite is the locality. It is NOT FROM TSUMEB. It comes from the Berg Aukas Mine near Grootfontein and is consequently much rarer than similar material from Tsumeb. It features a wonderfully mounded look with satin luster and fine lucency. Minor imperfection doesn´t detract from the excellent overall aesthetics. Great stuff, almost disappeared from the scene over the years.
