Description

Here we see a fine and very rich specimen of the very rare sorosilicate Fersmanite which was named after Aleksandr Evgenievich Fersman, the founder of the Fersman Mineralogical Museum in Moscow. The best specimens are definitely those from here, the TYPE LOCALITY, Vein No. 1 of Labuntsov at Eveslogchorr Mt.,- and this is a great example with numerous brown crystals embedded in matrix. This kind of material is very rare and consequently very seldom offered for sale in the last years.
