Description

This is a stunning, vibrant and classic style of gemmy green Elbaite tourmaline crystal superbly accompanied by light pink Rose Quartz. Such combinations are typical for the locale but exceeding rare and desired, compared with most of the other Brazilian Elbaite combos. The breathtaking deep colour and transparency are very apparent in the photos, enhanced by the faint vertical striations along the prism faces that display great luster. The faces of the sharply pyramidal termination throughout save have a prominent glassy luster. The elbaite crystal is completely gem and the deep green colour contrasts wonderfully with the Rose Quartz. This is a superb, completely transparent crystal that has no edge chatter what makes this great specimen more valuable. This specimen has no repair and is suitable for highest aesthetic demands. This miniature is a masterpiece all the way - Just superb. For a better demonstration of the superb colouration I used minor backlight.
