Description

A fine and classic, rich specimen of gemmy and lustrous, olive-green Andradite variety Demantoid garnets aesthetically and also richly scattered and clustered on starkly contrasting fibrous serpentinite matrix from an old time Italian locality - the Val Malenco of Sondrio Provine in Lombardy. The crystals here are sharp edged, the luster is great as mentioned before and they are perfectly trerminated as well. A super piece in splendid condition with no imperfection so far I can see. The backside is sawn.
