Description
This typical Calcite specimen, hosts numerous superbly curling and twisting wires of native Silver. The Silver wires itself are superbly defined and they are showing a fine metallic sheen. This specimen comes from the polymetalic ore body of Haje near Příbram in Bohemia. Such good and rich items are still history. A decade or so ago, I visited the old dumps with a friend and local collector to find some good pieces there. The result was frustrating. We found nothing. So this kind of items disappear more and more from the market and consequently the prices rise. This specimen has great aesthetics and was part of my old Příbram collection.
