Here we have an unusual Fluorite specimen from the famous Black Forest locale of Clara Mine in the Rankach Valley of Oberwolfach. We see slightly deformed and growth-retarded Fluorite cubes of pale lavender colour. On this varietal are set a bunch of pale amber coloured cuboctahedrons of the same species. This kind of crystals are exceeding well defined, sharp and gemmy. This style was not so uncommon some decades ago, when I was a teenager and collecting on the big dump of the active Clara Mine was still allowed. However, over the years this kind of interesting stuff disappeared more and more.
