Description
A very aesthetic and showy Bunker Hill Pyromorphite of lustrous, wet-look, golden-canary yellow prisms nicely set almost over the whole display face. This very three-dimensional Pyromorphite specimen is a rolling matrix with 4mm crystals that emerge dramatically and spread slightly to the sides to create a multi-faceted glitter on the display surface when viewed from the side from all angles. It is almost flawless. What is unusual for this growth is that the tips have an excellent, glassy shine and the stems also have a shine. It was mined here in its heyday in the 1980s, in contrast to “Round 2” in the mid-1990s, as can be seen by its intense yellow color and sparkling shine.
