Description
Pargasite is an uncommon member of the Amphibole group, and an unusually colorful one, at that. This Pargasite is superb in every way, much sharper than normally seen. The 1.5 x 1.2 cm cluster, reasonably large for the species, has sharp, lustrous faces with attractive striations, it is gemmy to translucent, and has intense green color. Highly representative of the uncommon, very colorful species and locality.
