Actually Galena crystals, especially in this size are nothing special and usually you would call it a "shitty little rock". BUT THIS GALENA COMES FROM THE SWISS ALPS. When, or ever before, did you see the last time an alpine Galena, outside the well known ore deposits like Lengenbach Mine? Not more than 5 specimens like that went through my fingers over the years, and it it was never a question of quality, there was simply nothing there. And here we have a superbly defined and sharp crystal with high metallic sheen,- accompanied by gemmy Rockcrystal and partly powdered with golden Pyrite. This is a must have for every collector of alpine rarities and oddities. I worry, this opportunity will not come back.
