Description

This is a beautiful alpine specimen. A cluster of Quartz (var. Smoky Quartz) on a granitic matrix. The crystals which are up to over 3 cm tall have a nice brown color, they are sharp, gemmy translucent with a vitreous luster. The terminal faces look frosted but are slightly dusted with Chlorite. The specimen is not quite perfect but aesthetically pleasing!
