Description
Very excellent, and perfect 1 cm long, reddish-brown gemmy and translucent Rutile crystal. It is doubly terminated and displays a pronounced striation on the prism faces parallel to the c-axis. It is associated with anthracite-colored Chlinochlore rosettes and both species sit on matrix typical for the metamorphic rocks of the central Alps. From a find from the 1960s with original label from the German Loorz Collection, Bockswiese, Upper Harz Mountains.
