Description
Very excellent, historic specimen of a cluster of brown "Sand Barite Roses" up to 4.5 cm. By far more aesthetic and sculptural than the usual material from the locality. Known as Rockenberg roses (“Rockenberger Röschen”), this specimen was collected about 100 years ago at the Rockenberg sand quarry, and comes with an original handwritten label from 1927.
