Description
A super Fluorite specimen from one of the quarries above the town of Baveno on the shores of scenic Lago Maggiore in Italy. Two clusters of cuboctahedral, slightly rounded Fluorite crystals, violet in color and with good luster and translucency on a matrix of Orthoclase crystals. No noteworthy damage! A great piece aesthetics and contrast, just a killer piece all the way. Unfortunately, this piece comes without precise locality information. From the Dr. Herbert Muntau Collection.
