Description
An exceptional specimen with a super aesthetic appeal. This small cabinet-sized specimen consists of a group of pristine, pointy Calcite "dog tooth" scalenohedrons from translucent white to water-clear with a vitreous luster on matrix. The locality of this specimen, the José Maria Patoni mining works are famous worldwide for the purity, transparency and crystallographic complexity of the Calcite crystals, as well as its Butterfly twins. The calcite fluoresces under long-wave UV light.
