Description
This is an impressive small cabinet specimen from an old German collection (Dr. Schönfeld coll.). Fine Millerite needles (look closer!) and clusters and individual crystals of iridescent Chalcosite perched on Dolomite rhombohedrons. One can clearly see that this specimen has been handled properly, otherwise all the intricate needles would have been brushed off. A very interesting specimen from an abandoned coal mine in Germany´s Ruhr area. Look at the closeup photos of the specimen and you will be mesmerized.
