Look at that beauty. An almost 7 cm tall, translucent, frosted-looking, barrel-shaped, undamaged DOUBLY TERMINATED Calcite crystal crested with smaller Calcite crystals attached to a bit of matrix. The narrow blue-green Seladonite veins in the matrix are a dead giveaway for the locality of Iraí, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. You probably think that it can´t get more aesthetic than that until you point a UV light at this piece. Put your shades on, the fluorescence will blind you!
