Description
Here we have an unusual Calcite specimen, formed as so-called Zweckenspat (Zweckenspar) from Langenau near Freiberg in Saxony. It has sharp and lustrous, creamy, disc-shaped crystals. Despite the circumstance, that the specimen is not perfect, this is definitely a very rare specimen and practically not seen for sale on the mineral market.
