Description
This is a fine locality specimen that is both, attractive and richly crystallized. The piece features excelent developed, cog-wheel twins up to 1 cm on a matrix of glistening, grainy-multifaced Pyrite and less Galena. Nice crystallized example of a species not very common in these deposits and treasured from other localities - so it is hard to find a good Romanian example for a worldwide suite of this species. And this is a good one with only less imperfection but many almost perfect twins a triplets. This is a piece from the heydays of this great mine in the 1970s or 1980s.
