Description
A fine, bicoloured Calcite specimen from the oncommon Czech locale Rotava (Rothau) near Falknov in Bohemia. The single crystals here are multifaced, sharp edged and mirror bright. The bottom of the specimen has slightly burnt orange-brown colour, the top is rather white to creamy. This colouration is a bit reminiscent to the fine Calcites of Vlacho Mine near Lavrion. This fine specimen comes with an antique Maucher label.
