Description

Here we have a fine and contrastful specimen of rare black Foitite as elongated crystals with slightly fibrous structure and accompanied by creamy Albite crystals. The Foitite is well developed, sharp edged and good terminated. A very good specimen from a rather uncommon species. A vacancy-dominant member of the Tourmaline Group. The Fe2Al-OH-analogue of oxy-foitite.
