This excellent and beautiful specimen features an interesting, adjacent vug filled with glassy, purple Adamite crystals to 3 mm in a sculptural, sturdy, gossan matrix. This piece is from the one-time find in 1981 and is highly representative for this very desirable Manganoan-Adamite varietal (erroneously once though to be cobaltoan). This material is so exceeding hard to come by,- and this one is really great. Ex. Dr. H.-J. Wilke Collection.
