Description

This 3.6 cm tall cluster of parallel grown Tanzanite crystals is dramatic and sculptural. The specimen was part of a small but choice lot mined in the 2010s and has an unusual natural indigo blue color. Rarely does one find pristine gem Tanzanite crystals with multiple terminations which are naturally colored, and not heat treated to enhance color. The vitreous luster and translucency are stunning as well and the overall aesthetics is just amazing. Wonderful material, more and more rare nowadays and consequently hard to come by for a reasonable price like this specimen.
