Description

Here we have a fine, sculptural specimen with a beautiful curving surface of intricately grown small Kutnahorite crystals. On this matrix there are numerous Kutnohorite fans to almost 1,5 cm in lenght. Superb pink colour and well-defined long slender crystals in aggregate growth place this specimen way above the average (if there is such a thing since they are so darn rare) Kutnahorite. The shape of the crystals, the the fine colour really do make this a very attractive and desirable specimen. The colour is literally more pink than you usually see for the stuff, and I wonder if that could be due to a peculiarly high manganese content in the specimen
