Here we see a superb and highly aesthetic, bi-coloured specimen with cauliflower-shaped look from the well known Berg Aukas Mine of Grootfontein, Namibia. The top two-thirds of the piece are highly lustrous, sharp edged, dark brown and transparent, the lower third is rather burnt orange and lucent. This fine Descloizite specimen is from the locality that is the undisputed world champion for this mineral species. The crystals here are shimmering deep brown, with dendritic form as opposed to the sharp-faced chunky form the other specimen shows. This is the more "traditional" look for fine Berg Aukas Descloizites. EXCELLENT !!!
