Despite this specimen is almost pristine, it rather impresses with its uncommon locality and great history. Anyway,- here we have a beautiful, rich contrasted specimen with several intergrown crystals of multifaced Sphalerite as iron-bearing variety Marmatite and highly lustrous, sharp and glassy Quartz. Hahnenklee-Bockswiese is nowadays a suburb of Goslar, 16 km southern of the city, but it was a mine as well and had the heyday between the 18th and 19th century. This fine piece comes with a fine old and rare label.
