Description
Countless elongated steel gray Stibnite crystals as jackstraw on quartz matrix. This excellent small cabinet sized specimen is from the Kremnica (Kremnitz in German) mining district in Žiar nad Hronom County, Slovakia, a picturesque region and host to almost 130 mineral species. The Stibnite, an antimony sulphide, covers most of the display face in an array of randomly orientated acicular crystals up to about 1.1 cm long.
