Description
The two rare silicates Olmiite and Bultfonteinite from the world-famous N´Chwaning II Mine of Kalahari Manganese Fields in South Africa. The Olmiite forms the typical blocky beige colored crystals while the Bultfonteinite forms snow-white sprays. The fibrous Bultfonteinite needles reach up to 0.5 cm, and their white color and superb pearly luster provide aesthetic and dramatic contrast with both the Olmiites and the chocolate-brown matrix . A superb combination specimen. Classic material from a find at the end of the 1990s
