Description
While Cassiterite is not necessarily a rare species, it is relatively rare from the Namibian Krantzberg locality where Tungsten ore was mined intermittently from 1911 to 1980. This is a piece from an almost 70 year mining history: 1.9 cm tall, gemmy, and olive green to anthracite. The main crystal of this cluster is pristine.
