This is a small cabinet-sized Celestine specimen from the Rüderdorf Limestone quarry in the eastern outskirts of the German capital Berlin. A cluster of Celestine with crystals measuring to 1.5 cm on matrix. The undamaged crystal is gemmy with a vitreous luster. The color is mostly light brick red with few bluish-gray areas. This is another great specimen for crystal size and quality, outstanding for its historical significance.
