Description
A small cabinet specimen with brown rhombohedrons of Breunnerite, a variety of Iron-bearing Magnesite in Mica Schist with a satin luster, very typical for the Zillertal. The crystals display a darker core and have an adamantine luster. Although it does not say specifically on the label, however, this specimen with its obsolete species name could very well be from the Zillertal type locality where the species was first found and described.
