Here we have a superb specimen with sharp and well formed crystals of SUPER-RARE species Manganvesuvianite from the TYPE LOCALITY, the N´Chwaning II MIne of Kalahari Manganese Fields, South Africa. Excellent cluster of lustrous excellent terminated prismatic crystals with only minor edge wear. It is much better in person because of the dark colour of the crystals and the density of the cluster. This is premium class quality from a find of the late 1990s and practically dispersed on the market. Exceedingly hard to come by, especially in this great quality.
