Here we see an embedded jackstraw of light-blue, well developed and sharp Kyanite from the classic Swiss locale at Pizzo Forno. Kyanites are common from Brazil, but this is a rather rare, fine Swiss Alpine Kyanite, with superb crystals that are really transparent. One of them measures over 3 cm in length. They are arranged very aesthetically on the matrix. This stuff is more and more hard to come by nowadays.
