Here you see a beautiful specimen of deep green Malachite from the well known locale Rudabánya of Hungary. The whole display face has an intense green and sparkling look due to the countless tiny crystals which are covering the gossan matrix. They are well developed, sharp edged and almost top terminated. Very aesthetic and relatively rare old-time material. Pretty common in the ending 1980s and the 1990s but disappeared as fast as they came to the market. Very hard to come by this stuff nowadays.
