Here we have a wonderful piece of a Niobophyllite crystal, nicely exposed on Microcline matrix. Niobophyllite is an EXTREMELY RARE species containing niobium and titanium, the best of which come from this incredibly interesting deposit. This fine small cabinet piece features a tabular and slightly bent, brick-red Niobophyllite crystal accompanied by less, coal-black Aegirine. The crystal measures over 5 cm in lenght and there are no Repairs. This is a major piece for the species! From the collection of Anka and Uli Bahman, Midrand, South Africa
