Description

On first glance we could think this is a Georg/Willroth or Siegerland specimen,- but it is an unusual good Chalcopyrite-on-Siderite piece from Neudorf in Harz mountains. The sharp and brassy Chalcopyrite crystals are nicely clustered on satin lustrous Siderite rhombs and they are showing wonderful slightly tarnished iridescent colours. Both species are well formed of course and very sharp edged with excellent terminations. So far I can see, the display face is pristine on this highly aesthetic and uncommon Neudorf piece.
