Description

Here we have a pleasing, classic specimen of olive-green to yolk yellow, intergrown but still exposed Mimetite clusters, composed of typically barrel shaped crystals and richly set on the display face of the piece. Campylite is the, still mentioned barrel-shaped variety of Mimetite and here we have a gorgeous piece from the "type locality", the Dry Gill Mine of Cumbria. The crystals and clusters are showing a fine luster, a great and relatively uncommon colour and only very minor edge wear. A stunning piece in super condition and if I consider the specimens size and super aesthetics, for a very reasonable price I think.
