Description

This is a contrastful specimen of native Copper included in well developed Calcite crystals. Michigan Copper in Calcite specimens are certainly one of the most desirable Calcite varietals in the world. Most of them were produced prior to World War I. Bright Copper within glassy, striated Calcite scalenohedrons presents a unique and very beautiful Calcite specimen. This classic and aesthetic, old-timer features four, glassy, highly lustrous and striated, richly filled, Copper in Calcite crystals beautifully perched on matrix, which is scattered with hooky Copper and minor Epidote. The scalenohedrons are almost pristine and top terminated. This is an excellent, old-time representation of this very desirable Calcite variety
