This excellent specimen features a large number of superbly defined, flattened rhombs of medium pink Rhodochrosite, contrastful scattered with white Quartz crystals. Just this fact gives this gorgeous specimen a dramatic look. The Rhodo itself is sharp edged, highly lustrous and top terminated. This is an old timed, highly aesthetic American classicn from famous Colorado locale Sunnyside Mine at Silverton. Such super pieces became more and more rare over the years and they are consequently hard to come by nowadays.
