Description

Here we see a fine and colourful specimen of yolk yellow botryoidal Mimetite in typical way. It is a riveting, intense yellow-orange to egg yolk yellow Mimetite small cab, from this important and one-time-only 1969 find at the Congreso-Leon Mine in Mexico. Mexican Mimetite discovery was unique and now legendary and this piece is one of the really good specimens from that find. It features relatively large, glistening balls of Mimetite mounded up everywhere that transition from 1 to 2mm ones on the bottom that billow upward to 5mm on the front that comprise botryoids to one centimeter. The piece is complete all around and is among the good colours from this locale. A super specimen in splendid condition; and comes with a high quality custom lucite base for display.
