A small fraction from our wide selection of minerals that we will have available on the tree major shows in Tucson. Handpicked and exceptional specimens of superb quality.
One of the most attractive acanthite miniatures of this size I have ever
seen. Mirror bright, and rich in
contrast. Completely undamaged
acanthite crystals on limestone matrix. Ex Dr. H.-J. Wilke Collection.
An incredible specimen with two amethyst scepter in the shape of a
cross. If this specimen were from
Namibia it would be a curiosity, however, being from Denny Mountain makes it a
killer. The amethyst color is not
very pronounced but it is clearly visible. Each individual face of the crystals is highly lustrous, the
crystals are sharp and transparent.
This specimen is a must for collectors of aesthetics and quartz collectors
alike. Ex Dr. H.-J. Wilke Collection
A quite unusual specimen: A superb
combination of color and lack of damage that has no rival. The apatite crystal is dark blue green
in stark contrast to orange calcite matrix. The crystal is completely undamaged and has the round
indentations which are characteristic for this locality. A top-aesthetic specimen from the
collection of Dr. H.-J. Wilke.
An exceptional and entirely
undamaged quartz specimen with a superb Japan law twin perched on quartz. Every crystal on this specimen shows a
vitreous luster, is sharp and transparent. A rare and great specimen from this locality. Ex Dr. H.-J. Wilke Collection
An attractive association of a great quartz scepter with very faint
amethyst color and a multifaceted, colorless fluorite crystal. An aesthetic small cabinet and an interesting
association in excellent condition. Ex Dr. H.-J. Wilke Collection.
An unusually good “raspberry spar” as rhodochrosite was called by miners
way back in time. Deep orange to
raspberry-red crystals line a large open cavity. A specimen without damage that can easily keep up with
international standards. What a great specimen from the collection of Dr. H.-J.
An exceptional and highly lustrous twin crystal. It is very sharp, undamaged and shows a
reddish-black color. One side of
the specimen shows few perforations but does not distract from the overall
quality. Ex Dr. H.-J. Wilke Collection.
A colorful specimen from a classic locality with ball-shaped, mint-green
crystal clusters. The display side
is absolutely undamaged; the back has barely visible nicks. A real top specimen from the Dr. H.-J.
