    Bournonite

    Erythrite

Daniel Mine | Schneeberg | Erzgebirge | Saxony | Germany

What a specimen! I have not seen comparable erythrite specimen from Schneeberg on the market in a long time.  The erythrite sheaf is deep purple, perfectly crystallized, and measures phenomenal 2.1 cm.  Many of the individual crystals that make up the sheaf are perfectly terminated.  This specimen from a classic locality shows a much richer contrast than any Moroccan specimen of this species. This is a must for any collector of German classics.
